JRU Light Bombers scores historic 82 points in NCAA

Jose Rizal University's Keith Jasper Agovida made history by scoring 82 points in a single game in the NCAA Junior Basketball Tournament. Making 36 to 50 shots from the field and just missing six of 16 free throws, this Light Bombers stalwart who stands at 6'2", made a whipping of the Mapua Red Robins. Along with 82 points, Agovida also caught 17 rebounds, made five steals, two shot blocks, to go with six turnovers in 37 minutes of action. This record set by Agovida now stands as the highest score to beat, last held by Erwin Bolabola of Letran in the 1970's. Jasper was last year's Rookie of the Year Winner.
