JOSE RIZAL UNIVERSITY hosts Echo Conference for ASAIHL Philippine Council

On September 19, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m, Jose Rizal University will host the Echo Conference of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) International Conference on Borderless Education. The said conference was originally held in Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, Nonthaburi, Thailand last April 7-10, 2008.

Greetings from the ASAIHL-Philippine Council!

We are pleased to inform you that ASAIHL-Philippine Council will hold an Echo Conference of the ASAIHL International Conference on Bordeless Education in Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, Nonthaburi, Thailand held on April 7-10, 2008. The program of the Echo Conference which will be held in Jose Rizal University (JRU), Mandaluyong City, on September 19, 2008 includes the following:

1. Echo of the Philippine papers presented

2. Synthesis of the other papers presented in the ASAIHL International Conference

3. Paper from the UP Open University

As has been the practice, registration fee for the members will be minimal and only to cover lunch and snacks. The registration fee is Php 400 for faculty of ASAIHL members and PhP 700 for non-members.

We hope to see you and your faculty in the Echo Conference. We can also take this opportunity to talk about the future activities of the Philippines Council.
