JRU's Alumni Sponsors Professorial Chair 3 Years in a Row

The Don Bienvenido R. Tantoco, Sr. (DBRTS) Professorial Chair for Marketing, created in honor of the legacy of the Philippine retail magnate, is designed to update and enhance the knowledge of business practitioners, students and professors in the dynamic field of Marketing. Jose Rizal University’s prominent alumni, Don Bienvenido R. Tantoco Sr. has pledged to sponsor this prestigious Chair for the 3rd straight year. The DBRTS Professorial Chair is designed to provide new marketing trends and practices in a lecture series made up of four public presentations and two faculty development seminars. This year’s holder of the prestigious chair is Prof. Donald Lim, Yehey! CEO. His first lecture this school year was entitled “The New Rules of PR” focusing on the management of various media and the importance of technology such as Blogging, Viral Marketing and Word of Mouth marketing strategies in developing publicity and raising revenues for the company. The previous holder of the prestigious chair was Philippine marketing guru, Mr. Josiah Go.
