Jose Rizal University welcomes class opening with a new
HRM Lab
Jose
Rizal University has found yet another way to provide
quality education through useful improvements in school
facilities. This year, students of Hotel and Restaurant
Management are in for an exciting academic year, as the
construction of the new HRM laboratory comes to a
close.
The new
HRM laboratory is one of its kind. Designed by
Professional Executive Chef, Wilfredo Domingo, the
project builds on the chef’s more than 30 years of
industry experience. Compared to the previous
laboratory, the new lab uses professional grade and
industry rated equipment, with good exhaust and fresh
air supply system comparable to hotels and restaurants
in Metro Manila. It also uses a battery type layout
wherein each stove and oven cooking battery is
complemented by a chiller to store all the ingredients.
In addition, the lab includes a separate bar area with a
rated Mixiology machine.
The
international design and professional component of the
new HRM laboratory will surely provide HRM students with
an edge in their future career, as they are already
exposed to and trained with industry-rate equipment
while still in the University.
